Our standard size
When you choose a necklace, you’re choosing a piece of jewelry that will rest gently against your neck, highlight a pendant, or complement other jewelry you’re already wearing.
In our collections, our necklaces are available in a standard women's size of 41 cm.
This length allows for a relatively short wear, while maintaining a light, airy drape that reflects Brand distinctive aesthetic. It is particularly well-suited to necklaces with fixed designs as well as small pendants, which it highlights with delicacy. It is a balanced length, designed to accentuate the jewelry without weighing down the silhouette.
Upon request and subject to certain conditions, we can create a necklace in a length other than our standard size.
Our other chain lengths
In addition to our necklaces, we offer gold chains in a variety of lengths designed to hold charms, medallions, and pendants. The length of the chain plays a key role: it affects the necklace’s appearance, how it drapes, and how comfortable it is to wear. To help you make an informed choice, we’ve put together a few simple guidelines here regarding the different chain lengths available at Myrtille Beck .
38 cm - This length sits very close to the neck. It can be worn on its own for a minimalist, elegant look, or paired with a subtle pendant.
41 cm - This is our standard size. It is particularly well-suited for a mini medallion or pendant, typically worn alone, with a length that remains fairly short.
45 cm - CThis length is ideal for a chain designed to hold a slightly larger medallion or one of our baby signet rings. It also works very well in layered looks, paired with a shorter chain, such as a 38 cm or 41 cm chain.
49 cm - This is a mid-length style, particularly well-suited for wearing multiple pieces of jewelry, such as a medallion paired with charms. It drapes more softly and sits a bit more loosely on the neckline.
55 cm - This is our longest length. It falls lower on the neckline and is particularly well-suited for our larger pendants. It creates an elegant look with a more slender silhouette.
As with our other necklaces, we can accommodate lengths other than those listed. Please contact us in advance so we can provide a quote if any modifications or length adjustments are needed.
Our chain thicknesses
In addition to length, our Brand offers a variety of chain thicknesses. Whether more subtle or more prominent, they influence how the piece sits and complements a pendant.
We offer three chain thicknesses: 7/10, 9/10, and 10/10.
The 7/10 thickness creates a delicate, refined look, like a slender gold thread that subtly hugs the neck.
The 9/10 gaugeoffers the perfect balance for those looking for a chain with a slightly more noticeable presence, without sacrificing any of its delicacy.
The 10/10 gauge is more substantial; this gauge is particularly well-suited for longer chains, especially those measuring 49 cm and 55 cm, as well as for more statement pieces, which it supports with greater stability.
How to Choose the Right Chain Length
Beyond measurements and proportions, choosing a necklace comes down, above all, to considering how you like to wear your jewelry on a daily basis.
