Social Ethics

In accordance with its values and its sensitivity, Myrtille has wanted, from the very beginning, to adopt a responsible approach to the jeweller's profession.

Our organisation, the working conditions of our team and our partners, the materials we use and the strategic decisions we take are all part of our desire to be strongly anchored in a responsible approach and to participate in its improvement day after day.

In this way, we ensure that we offer our employees conditions that ensure their wellbeing at work through fair remuneration, friendly and constructive cooperation and a strong team spirit.

Our partner craftsmen are rigorously selected and remunerated at their fair value to enable them to practice their art in the best possible conditions. Thanks to this commitment, our way of working enables a whole microcosm of passionate people to flourish and make a living from their art. We never undercut our clients' prices, so that everyone can ensure the highest possible quality of work. We are also loyal to our partners, who have been with us since the creation of our boutique-atelier, i.e. for over 15 years.

Finally, we communicate transparently with our customers about the materials we use, our finished products, and the way we work in order to establish a relationship of trust.

All our jewels are entirely hand-made in our Parisian workshop. We bring the greatest care and passion to it. We work in the respect of an exceptional artisanal know-how and take care of our impact on the environment by proposing a reasoned and responsible production of our jewels and the materials which are used for their elaboration.

We thus work with materials sourced and produced ethically by our partners, who are highly qualified: some are best workers in France (Engraving), others are members of the RJC (Sertisseur, Fondeur, Fournisseur d'Or) (RJC = Responsible jewellry council) and Entreprises du patrimoine vivant (Sertisseur).

Our gold is RJC-COC (Responsible Jewelry Council Chain of Certification) certified 100% French gold, extracted in French Guiana under strictly established conditions of traceability (from extraction to transformation) and moral and ethical responsibility. Called "clean gold" as opposed to "blood gold" (from conflict zones) and "dirty gold" (extracted from toxic processes). We aim to go even further in the future and through our development and customer loyalty by offering recycled gold whenever possible.

All of our stones are sourced responsibly and from trusted partners who have been in place since the very beginning. Our diamonds are notably Kimberley Process certified, when our sapphires are natural and untreated.

Thanks to you, the development of our Brandcompany allows us every day to envisage more and more responsible solutions, which we will share here with you.
